Shocker of the Day

Today was a bit strange, because life seem to pass by without us realizing it. I just found out that Sri Benson was married for the last 3 years. All my Summerbridge pals were shocked when I spread the news. Joshua kept repeating, "3 years" over and over again. Its like having Joey on Friends married without informing any of his old pals. Granted he was in the military most of our college years...but it doesn't make this news any less of a surprise.

It reminded of the time when I found out about Cassie's murder a year after her death. I realized I'm such a bad person for not knowing about it sooner. I tried hard to keep in touch with most of my friends, but I can't keep up with everyone. I want to be there when they're happy and when they're sad...but life just pass by so quickly that I can't be part of everyone's life.

Is that a failure?
